This Orleans creamer from Red Wing Pottery on the Provincial Shape resembles a small milk jug. The Hand Painted pattern features a large red flower with smaller orange blooms and blue blossoms backed by deep green foliage. Medium blue trim encircles the rim and foot and the same blue is painted to form a ladder-like design on the handle.
Made by Red Wing Pottery circa 1941, this 8-ounce creamer measures 3-3/4 inches tall and 2-1/4 inches in diameter.
The backstamp is Red Wing's deep blue vertical wing with the words "Red Wing Pottery Hand Painted."
There are places along the rim that seem to have been missed by the glaze, but no damage.
