There's no mistaking the signature quality of Royal Albert Bone China in this unusual candy dish! With its fancy scalloped rim, the pattern, Star of Eve, is dotted with starbursts of black rays with bright blue raised enamel centers. The background is the pure white of bone china with gold trim on the closed handles.
This pretty Bon Bon dish measures 6 inches wide by 7 inches across the handles and about 1 inch deep. The backstamp bears a Black Crown and the words: "Royal Albert, Bone China, England." "Star of Eve" in a semi circle at the bottom completes the mark. According to the backstamp, this Star of Eve dish was made by Royal Albert China sometime between the 1950s to the mid-1970s, though some references date it into the 90's.
There is no damage to this pretty vintage piece that would make a lovely gift. Thank you for visiting MaggieBelle's! Please email me anytime!
