This Set of Three Mid-Century Double Old Fashioned Tumblers in the Golden Grapes Burgundy design were made by Cera Glass of New Jersey. A vivid and bright textured 22Karat gold motif of grapes and leaves on a winding vine of golden yellow dances around the top portion of these double old fashioned glasses. Ribbons of textured gold frame the top and bottom of the design. This upper design is backed by a transparent burgundy pink ground. Arched pillars in burgundy surround the lower half of each tumbler, and a burgundy band with a golden yellow overlay with a design to match the top rings the bottom.
Each glass tumbler measures 4-3/8 inches tall and 3-1/2 inches in diameter at the rim, 2-5/8 at the base.
Made by Cera Glass circa the 1950s to 1960s, one of the tumblers has a partial Cera mark in gold.
As to be expected, there is very minimal wear on the gold, but there are no other condition issues.
