New Martinsville's gorgeous red is a standout in this Moondrops Depression Glass Creamer and Sugar. Moondrops is distinguishable not only by the texture of the higher quality of the glass and the richness of its orange to red color, but also by the oval shaped "drop" on the lower portion of each piece. Both the sugar and creamer stand on a concave foot of concentric rings.
The sugar stands 2-3/4 inches tall to the top of the handles, and the creamer is 3 inches tall at the lip. Each is 2-1/2 inches in diameter and stands on a 2-inch foot.
Made by New Martinsville between 1932 and 1940, there is no mark. There is no damage to either piece.
