This Hazel Atlas Gold and White Ice Bucket in the Colony pattern has a design of early American kitchen items such as coffee pots and salt boxes along with planters of tulips, a seal with the American Eagle, foliage, scrolling cornices, and other miscellaneous designs. The barrel-shaped ice tub has a wide band of frosted white and the decorations are all in gold. A band of gold with tiny embossed loops tops the white and gold panel.
This glass ice bucket measures 4-3/4 inches tall and 5-5/8 inches in diameter across the top, 4-1/2 inches across the bottom.
Signed "Colony" in the pattern, the embossed "HA" Hazel Atlas mark is on the bottom. This bowl was made before the Hazel-Atlas Company closed in 1964.
There is some minor wear on the gold consistent with use, but there are no chips.
