This Mid Century Dunbar glass cocktail pitcher has a textured 2-1/8 inch wide frosted white band around the middle with gold rings around the top and bottom of the white band. The outermost of these bands is more narrow than the other two. The tall pitcher tapers from the top to the narrow bottom and has a curved in ice lip and an applied clear handle.
At 9-3/4 inches tall, this Hollywood Regency style cocktail pitcher is stunning. It measures 4-1/4 inches across the top to the lip of the spout, tapering to a 3-3/8 inch diameter base. It is about 6 inches across with the handle.
There is no mark. This pitcher was made by Dunbar Glass sometime between the 1950s and 1970s.
There is minimal, if any, wear to the gold bands. There is a flaw to the top part of the handle where it is applied to the pitcher. It is a small star-shaped spot that can be felt on the outside. Due to its location, I believe this occurred in the application process. There are no chips.
