This unusual Mid Century Glass Ice Bucket has panels of teal and gold cartouches with horns from the hunt. The design features six panels around the bowl, each framed with elaborate gold filigree scrolls at the top and bottom. Two teal panels are inside each frame, setting off a gold cartouche of stylized horns and other items from the hunt. The panels alternately frame a rectangular cartouche of a straight Berkeley horn and ewer with leaves, or an oval cartouche of a quiver and curved French horn with arrows.
This glass ice bucket measures 5 inches tall and 5-3/4 inches in diameter at the top, tapering to 4-1/2 inches at the bottom. It is not marked.
The gold on the rim is almost completely worn away, and there are some small spots along the top on the inside as though from a sticker, but they can't be felt and do not wipe off. The pattern shows a few places of wear as expected in a vintage piece, but is overall bright and clear.
