This Hall China Hook Cover 0749 Tea Pot is in the beautiful medium color called Cadet Blue with the Standard Gold decoration. The pattern is numbered 0749 featuring the Standard Gold decoration of a large gold flower in the center of each side of the teapot, with trios of gold leaves scattered around the pot. The spout, handle, foot, cover, and finial are all trimmed with gold. I love the finger-like hook at the top of the pot to hold the cover in place.
This lovely Hall teapot measures 6 inches tall and 9-3/4 inches across the spout and handle. It is 5-1/2 inches wide.
The backstamp is the familiar circle with the word "Hall" enclosed and "Made in U.S.A." below. "Hall 0749, 6 Cup, Made In U.S.A." is stamped in gold over the circular mark. This teapot was made by Hall China between the 1940s when this style was introduced, and the 1970s when this backstamp was changed to a rectangle.
There is no damage other than negligible expected minor wear to the gold.
