This dainty Rosina Demitasse Footed Cup and Saucer is decorated with Morning Glories in a heavenly shade of blue. Rosina's "Wild Flowers" pattern features different flowers on its items. This set feaures the blue Morning Glory on trailing green vines in three places around the ribbed and scalloped saucer, and the cup has them on both the front and back with another small sprig of Morning Glories inside. The edges of both cup and saucer, as well as the high curled handle on the cup, are trimmed in gold.
This fine Bone China demitasse cup stands 2-7/8 inches tall on a 1-3/4 inch diameter scalloped foot, and the diameter is 2-5/8 inches; 3-5/8 with the handle. The matching saucer is 5 inches in diameter.
It is stamped in green and pink with the Crown backstamp with "Rosina" arched above the crown. "Est. 1875" flanks the crown with "Fine Bone China" printed beneath it followed by a green and pink rose, and "Made in England" below. The pattern "Wild Flowers" is stamped in pink.
This mark was used by Rosina dating back to 1952. There is no damage other than negligible expected minor wear to the gold.
