This Royal Winton Sugar and Creamer depicts a scenic view of misty purple mountains and floral landscape on a yellow background. A five-petaled pink and red flower and a solitary young tree are in the foreground and the back of each piece is decorated with a floral tree branch. This Royal Winton pattern is known as Number 4071.
Both the Sugar and Creamer measure 2-1/4 inches tall, 2-7/8 inches across, and stand on 1-1/2 inch square foot. The Creamer extends to 4-3/4 inches with the pouring spout and handle.
Each is marked with the blue Royal Winton Circular mark used between 1938 and 1940 that states "Royal Winton, Grimwades, England." The illegible pattern number is also hand applied to the bottom of each piece.
Each is heavily crazed but only discolored on the inside of each piece.
