A Set of Three gorgeous Killarney Green Blown Glass Goblets by Tiffin! Killarney Green is a beautiful, deep, pine green that immediately identifies these lovely goblets as made by Tiffin of US Glass in Ohio, USA. Identified as Stem #17394, the gorgeous green bowl is perched on a clear stem with a rippled center knob for holding. This line of blown stemware was shown and described in 1949 magazine advertisements as “wonderful crystal for weddings, Christmas, and other special occasions.”
Each sizable water goblet measures 5-1/2 inches tall and 3-3/8 inches in diameter at the rim. The foot is 3-inches in diameter.
Tiffin's Killarney Stem #17394 was made circa 1948 to 1955. There is no mark.
One goblet has three long, vertical surface scratches in the green bowl. The longest of these is 1-1/2 inches, and they still show green. All three goblets have a circular mark on the bottom caused by the process of blowing glass. There is an occasional small bubble in the glass. This manufacturing flaw is typical of vintage glassware. There are no chips or cracks.
