Here is the pretty Floral by Jeannette Depression Glass Oval Serving Bowl, this time in pink. Often known by its nickname, "Poinsettia," for its resemblance to that flower, the mold is an all over pattern of star-shaped flowers with pointed petals and long, pointed leaves. The pattern covers the outside of the bowl including the bottom.
This lovely bowl measures 9-inches long by 6-3/4 inches wide by 2-inches deep.
This pattern was made by Jeannette from 1930 to 1935. There is no mark.
There is some inner rim roughness, common to Depression Glass and caused by stacking, but it is not sharp. Other than the expected flaws characteristic of Depression Era Glass, such as bubbles, mold seam roughness, or other irregularities, there is no damage.
Bowls in any depression glass pattern are becoming increasingly difficult to find. Imagine this beauty on your Easter table!
