Here is a lovely green Depression Glass Console Bowl with a Wheel Cut design. The wide, rolled rim has a wheel cut decoration at four equidistant places of a closed center cornflower with six circular petals. Five narrow vines of leaves stretch out from the uppermost petal. A single leaf points straight up from the flower, and tiny pairs of leaves are scattered between the larger leaves.
This low bowl measures 12-inches in diameter and approximately 3-inches high. The center, originally made to hold flowers, is 4-1/2 inches in diameter.
This type of elegant glass bowl was popular circa the 1930s, and was often made with matching candle holders. There is no mark.
There are surface scratches consistent with normal use, and no other condition issues.
