This MZ Austria Pierced Handle Floral Rim Serving Plate will be a perfect complement to Shabby Chic or other vintage decor! Wispy garlands of pink and white flowers on delicate greenery dance around the scalloped rim of this sweet serving plate. The snow white background and openwork handles with two cut-outs in each make this plate something special for your table or display.
This pretty serving plate measures 9-3/4 inches in diameter, 10-1/8 across the handles.
It is marked in green underglaze with a double eagle with a single crown over their heads and wings fanned. The letters "M.Z." are above the eagles, with "Austria" below. This mark was used by Moritz Zdekaver, (MZ,) Altrolau, Austria circa 1900.
The gold is well-worn, and there are a few normal, minor surface scratches consistent with age, but there is no other damage.
