This Blue Ridge Nocturne Colonial Shape Cup is paired, (as found) with a matching saucer in the Skyline shape. Though not originally a set, these two pieces look like they were made to be together.
Made by Blue Ridge, Southern Potteries sometime before 1957, the footed and fluted cup bears an 8-petaled flower in the same red as the saucer and measures 3 3/4 inches in diameter, and 2 1/8 inch deep; the saucer has a 6 inch diameter. Both pieces have green stems and matching leaves, and both flowers have a yellow center. There is no backstamp, and no damage to either piece.
