The hand painted pattern, Crab Apple, #3773, spotlights a single, large, red crabapple with deep brown stems and green leaves. On the Colonial shape, the handles, rims, and finial are decorated with speckles of matching red trim.
This charming pottery sugar bowl was made by Blue Ridge, Southern Potteries during the 1940's. It measures 4-1/2 inches at widest point, 6-1/2 inches across the handles. It stands on a 2-5/8 inch base with a 2-3/8 inch opening with a lip for the cover. It is 2-3/8 inches tall, 4-1/4 inches with the cover on.
