Here is the hard to find Blue Bouquet pattern by Hall China in a vintage handled pepper shaker. Priced as one shaker, the matching salt is included, but the handle has been repaired. The "Blue Bouquet" pattern features a narrow cobalt blue band around the middle topped with a 1/4-inch gold colored lattice. The blue band is intersected with a multicolor rose floral design in four places. The shakers each have the word "Pepper" or "Salt" in bold black letters at the top. There is a platinum band around the top rim and on the handle.
The one-piece shaker measures just over 3-inches in diameter at the widest part and 5-inches tall.
Blue Bouquet was made by Hall China for the Standard Coffee Company of New Orleans from the early 1950s to the mid 1960s, and has become nearly impossible to find! There is no mark.
There are a handful of small surface marks scattered over the shaker, but aside from a missing cork, and yellowing slightly with age, there are no other condition issues. The salt shaker, which still has a cork, is included at the price of the pepper alone due to the repair on the handle.
