This pretty Plant Tuscan Bone China Teacup and Saucer with enameled Pink Roses and Green Leaves on Gray is numbered C6561. A ring of pretty pink rose blossoms accented with leaves of spring green are enameled around the outside of the cup and on the rim of the saucer. Backed by lines of gray drizzling from the top of the cup and the outer edge of the saucer, each hand painted flower is different from the next and stands out on a 1/2-inch wide band of gray. The scalloped rims of both the cup and the saucer, as well as the foot and handle of the cup are all gold-trimmed.
The dainty cup is 2-3/4 inches tall, and 3-inches in diameter at the fluted rim, on a 1-5/8 inch diameter foot. The matching scalloped saucer is 5-1/2 inches in diameter.
The backstamp is the green underglaze “Plant, Tuscan China, Made in England,” surrounding the well-known Tuscan winged crown. This mark dates this set to circa 1936 - 1947. There are also silver artist's marks that resemble “YF.” The pattern number “C6561” is also hand painted on the saucer in red.
There are no condition issues.
