These amber Madrid Depression Glass rim soup bowls were made by Federal Glass. Madrid is an intriguing all over scrolling pattern with drapes of beads moulded into the glass. these round bowls have an attractive squarish rim.
Each of these glass soup bowls measures 7-inches across each side and 7-3/4 inches across the diagonal. Each is 1-5/8 deep.
This pattern was made by Federal from 1932 to 1939. There is no mark.
Each has some minor inner rim roughness, typically caused by stacking, and the usual negligible small surface scratches. There are no other condition issues.
Though this pattern was reintroduced in the 1980s, the deep color indicates that these are of the original vintage. Thank you for visiting MaggieBelle's Memories! Please see my Favorite Links to follow me on Pinterest!
