This lovely Bone China Pink and Gray-White Flowers Teacup and Saucer was made by Victoria Works of Cartwright and Edwards, England. A pair of large deep pink and gray-white flowers, possibly camellias, dominate this design. The white flower has a pink ring center that matches the colors of the pink flower. Green leaves and smaller pink blossoms accent the larger flowers. The inside top of the cup is decorated with a matching pink spray. The rims of both the saucer and cup, as well as the handle and foot of the cup, are all trimmed with gold.
This bell-shaped cup is 3-1/2 inches in diameter and 2-5/8 inches tall. The foot of the cup is 1-5/8 inches in diameter. The saucer is 5-3/8 inches in diameter
The backstamp, in gray, is an imperial coronet with the word "Victoria" arched above and "C & E Bone China England" below. This mark was used by Victoria Works from 1936 to 1955. There are also gold artist's marks on both pieces.
The gold is slightly worn, but there are no other condition issues.
