Here is an Amber Depression Glass salad plate in the lesser known Rosemary or Dutch Rose pattern by Federal. Rosemary features a pretty pattern of intersecting arches that encircle the rim of this sweet little plate. Pointed arches alternate with wider, rounded arches forming 'windows' for a single rose. A trio of roses decorates the center of the plate.
Rosemary is a pattern that was reworked from Federal's Mayfair after Hocking patented their Mayfair name. Rosemary was made by Federal from 1935 to 1937.
This salad or dessert plate measures 6-5/8 inches in diameter. There is no mark.
There are numerous surface scratches consistent with age, but no other damage.
