These two Vintage Jadeite Glass Iced Tea Tumblers can double as parfait glasses! In the solid jade green that gives this color glass its name, the only decoration is the set of four concentric rings where the foot is joined to the cone-shaped glass.
Each tumbler measures 6-inches tall and 3-1/4 inches in diameter at the rim tapering to stand on a 2-7/8 inch diameter foot.
Made circa the 1930s, there is no identifying mark.
There is about a 2-inch section of unevenness around the top rim of one tumbler, but it is smooth and likely occurred during the manufacturing process. There are creases in the glass that also occurred during the making, and one of these shows as a dark vertical line, though most of the creases are curved. The dark spot in the photos is sticker residue that has been mostly removed and the remainder should come off with soaking. There are no chips or cracks.
Whether used for iced tea or ice cream, presentation in these tumblers will add to the refreshing appeal!
The style and color indicate these were likely made by McKee, but could have been made by Jeannette or Hocking. I appreciate your interest in my items. Please make Maggie Belle's Memories a Favorite Shop to receive updates on new listings!
