Here is the pretty Florentine, more commonly known as Poppy Number 2, Depression Glass dinner plate by Hazel-Atlas in yellow. The pattern is an all over swirling poppy motif molded into the glass. Florentine Number 2 is characterized by round pieces, rather than the angled pieces of Florentine Number 1. The two patterns differ mainly in the shapes of the pieces and blend very nicely together.
Each dinner plate measures 10-inches in diameter.
This unmarked pattern was made by Hazel-Atlas from 1932 to 1935.
As is common in vintage glassware, there are a few expected minor surface scratches, but no chips or cracks. Three plates are available.
