Here is the Royal Standard #1445 Green Paisley Luncheon Plate to match the cup and saucer also listed in my shop. The all-over green paisley chintz motif is a mesmerizing design of flowers and paisley scrolls in shades ranging from pale sea green to emerald to forest green with a touch of black for a dramatic accent. The scalloped rim is gold trimmed.
This lovely plate measures 8-inches in diameter.
The underglaze back stamp is a green crown followed by the words "Royal Standard Fine Bone China England.” This mark was used by Royal Standard from 1949 to 1966 before the company became part of Royal Doulton in 1969.
Like the other Royal Standard Paisley plates, this plate has a couple of flaws in the form of shallow indentations along the back side edge. The longest is about 3/8-inch and has almost no depth. Each causes a tiny ripple in the gold trim, but the gold is intact. Neither is visible from the front of the plate. These flaws are nearly identical to those on the matching plates in the other colors, causing me to think they were done in the manufacturing process. Other than normal, small surface scratches, there are no other condition issues.
