Federal produced the Patrician, or Spoke, Depression Glass pattern of this green cup and saucer between 1933 and 1937. Patrician is an in-mold pattern that resembles the spokes of a wheel, from which it derives its nickname. The wide rim is slightly scalloped, echoing the spoke pattern.
The cup measures 2-5/8 inches tall and 3-3/4 inches in diameter across the top extending another inch with the handle. The matching saucer is almost 6-inches in diameter.
The Patrician pattern was made by Federal from 1933 to 1937. There is no mark.
There is the tiniest little nick along the seam on the edge of the saucer. It is less than 1/16-inch long and has almost no depth. It is very difficult to see, but it can be felt on close inspection. It is enlarged in the photo for your examination. As is common in vintage glassware, there are expected minor surface scratches. There are no other condition issues.
