Here is a large Petalware Depression Glass Berry Bowl in beautiful cremax with gold trim by MacBeth Evans. Cremax Petalware is a creamy beige shade that is darker than ivory, but still an off-white. The Petalware pattern has a wide rim with narrow panels that form a pretty scalloped edge and can be felt on the underside. The inside rim of this large bowl has a narrow band of gold intersected with a gold floral design in three equidistant places.
This lovely serving bowl measures 8-1/2 inches in diameter, and 3-1/8 inches deep.
Petalware was manufactured by Macbeth-Evans from 1930 through the 1940s.
Like most of Depression Glass, it is not marked.
There is some minor wear on the gold, and there are expected surface scratches from normal use. There are no other condition issues.
