Here is the hard to find Bowknot Green Depression Glass Footed Tumbler! This lesser-known pattern was made by the Belmont Tumbler Company during the late 1920s. Appropriately named, the Bowknot pattern features a pretty bow with trailing ribbons that connects beaded swags around the cup. An intricate bouquet medallion is centered on each swag. With only seven known shapes to this pattern, it is a thrill when you come across a piece, and even more so when you find a tumbler!
This sweet glass tumbler measures 4-5/8 inches tall and 3-1/4 inches in diameter at the rim. It stands on a 2-5/8 inch scalloped foot.
There is no mark. There is a 3-inch horizontal scratch about an inch and a half up from the bottom, and two more scratches at diagonal angles above that, each about 3/4-inch in length. There are a few other minor scratches. None of these can be felt, and there are no chips.
