This Booth's "Real Old Willow" Saucer from England is deep enough to be used as a sauce dish! The pretty little saucer has a depiction of the popular blue Willow scene that tells the story of the ill-fated young lovers complete with the pair of doves at the top. An intricate gold design separates the center from the geometric pattern on the scalloped blue rim, and more gold edges the outer scallops.
Made by Booth's Ltd. England circa 1910, this pattern is Real Old Willow #9072.
This porcelain saucer measures 5-inches in diameter and about three-quarters of an inch deep.
The backstamp bears the Blue Crown below "Booth's" followed by "Silicon China, England, Real Old Willow."
There is an old, tiny 3-mm by 1-mm chip on the back edge that is truly minimal.
