This sweet vintage Christmas Tree pin marked from the enigmatic Art Company is a textured design in burnished gold-tones with downward sloping branches, decorated with twelve white enamel candles, each with a tiny sparkling rhinestone “flame” of blue, green, red, or orange. A sparkling star with a clear white rhinestone tops the tree. The branches of the metal fir tree brooch have touches of white enamel snow and the tree stand has an embossed zigzag design.
Stamped "ART©" inside the curved tree stand base, this brooch dates to the 1950s through 1980s. According to the book Christmas Tree Pins by Nancy Trowbridge, this trademark was used by several different companies, including one that was founded in the 1940s.
The pin measures 2-1/8 inches tall by 1-1/4 inches wide.
The only condition issue is that the rhinestone of the top center candle is missing. This is not highly noticeable, you almost need a magnifying glass to see it, and it could be easily replaced with the color of your choice. The condition is reflected in the price.
Imagine this sparkling vintage beauty on the collar of your favorite coat!
