Share a special occasion cocktail in Hollywood Regency Style with this pair of opulent 22K-Gold Golden Shoji Old Fashioned Tumblers by Imperial Glass Company of Ohio! The pattern, Golden Shoji, Imperial's #104 Barware Line, features a gorgeous geometric trellis design molded into the glass and luxuriously coated with 22-karat gold. Also known as On-the-Rocks, or simply Rocks tumbler, each has a 1/4-inch band of gold around the top. This luxurious set is perfect for entertaining your guests in style for the upcoming holidays!
Made by Imperial Glass Company of Ohio between 1965 and the early 1970s when fancy dresses, white gloves, and hosting a cocktail party was the fashion, each tumbler is 3-1/2 inches tall and 3-1/4 inches in diameter, the right size for serving an Old Fashioned cocktail.
Each is marked with the embossed Imperial IG mark, the I superimposed over the G.
As is common in vintage barware with gold overlay, there is some degree of minor wear on each of the tumblers, particularly around the rim. The highly reflective nature of the gold makes it difficult to photograph, but most of this is not highly noticeable and the beauty of each piece still remains. Two have a 1/16-inch smooth indentation on the top of the rim under the gold. These clearly happened in the manufacturing process. There are no chips or cracks.
The last photo shows the three sets offered in one grouping of six.
