Offering a bit of Mid-Century giftware, a Prima Pink and Green Floral Circle Vase by Otagiri, Japan. Shaped like a circle with an elliptical opening, the vase is decorated with a textured enamel floral motif. Tall, waving stalks of white poppies and large, deep pink blooms resembling pink daffodils wind around each mug. The flowers are accented with green leaves and smaller flower buds. The opening at the top is trimmed with gold.
The circular vase measures 7-inches side-to-side and 6-5/8 inches tall. It is just over 2-inches wide, and the opening measures 3-1/4 by 1-inch.
Each is stamped in gold “Prima ©Otagiri Japan.” Otagiri was in production between 1950 and 1997, and this vase was likely produced in the mid-70s.
It will need some cleaning, especially on the inside. There is a bit of residue from a paper sticker on the underside. Any wear to the gold rim is truly minimal, and there are no chips or cracks.
