A Mid-Century Blue and Yellow Glass Tumblers and Cocktail Mixer by Lancaster Colony is just perfect for poolside entertaining! This fun Mid-Century barware set has blue and yellow parallelogram-shaped panels that wrap around each tumbler and the matching drink mixer. The panels blend together in the middle to form an attractive teal-green and come to a point at each end giving a hint of a nautical flair. The interesting blend gives the appearance of three ribbons, each about an inch wide. These would be great for a Michigan fan of the maize and blue!
This mixer measures 7-3/4 inches tall and 2-3/4 inches in diameter. It is 3-1/8 inches across the pouring spout. Each lowball tumbler is 2-3/4 inches tall, 2-1/2 inches in diameter. The included glass stirrer is 12-inches long and 1/2-inch wide at the bottom where it flattens to a paddle shape for stirring.
Made circa the 1970s, the word Colony is stamped on the side of each tumbler.
The mixer has some color loss on both sides. Each spot looks as though the color has worn away, but when you look at them through the inside they appear as dark shadows. Only one of the tumblers shows this same color loss. The other four tumblers have some minor iridescence when held in the right light. There are no chips or cracks.
