This great old-fashioned yellow convertible automobile planter is quite detailed with incised lines for the doors and radiator, and heavy gold trim to outline the wheels, mark the spokes of the steering wheel, and add other small accents. The Model-T-type convertible top is down and gilded, and the fenders are also covered in gold. It stands on the four in-mold wheels that raise it above the shelf and the bottom of the car is flat except for two 1-inch raised bars between the wheels.
This little old-time roadster is 7-1/2 inches long and 3-1/2 inches wide. It is 3-1/2 inches tall. The opening is 2-1/2 by 1-3/4 inches.
Made circa the 1950s to 1960s, it is not marked.
There is a 1/2-inch scratch on the underside, and the inside needs a little cleaning. Three of the fenders have indentations like old chips, but these are all under the gold, so were likely manufacturing flaws. There is only minor wear, if any, on the lavish gold trim.
