This beautiful Royal Lace Pink Depression Glass cup and saucer by Hazel-Atlas is becoming harder to find. One of the prettiest Depression Glass patterns, Royal Lace is an all over pattern of lacy heart-shaped medallions separated by an Art Deco style pointed rib design.
This unmarked pattern was made by Hazel-Atlas from 1934 to 1941.
The measurements of this Royal Lace cup are 2-5/8 inches tall, 3-1/2 inch diameter across the top with another inch for the handle, and a 2-inch diameter foot. The matching saucer is 5-3/4 inches in diameter.
The cups are undamaged. Each of the two saucers available has some inner rim roughness, including very small dings on the inner rim. This is common in this pattern and is usually caused by stacking. The pattern comes very near the top of the cups and may look like a chip in the photos, but there are no chips on these two cups.
