Artist William C. Morris has captured the lifelike beauty of a pair of Wigeons swimming gently on smooth blue waters in his winning painting for the 1984-85 Federal Duck Stamp Competition. The male of these dabbling ducks, with his bright green mask, swims in front of the female as their distinctive markings are reflected in the calm waters on this limited edition plate. The plate is edged in gold and artist signed on the bottom right.
