This delicate oval Sweet Meat Dish by Paragon Bone China is decorated with Pastel Blue and Pink Scrolls and Florals. Similar in design to Paragon's Tree of Kashmir and Tay San patterns, the center design is of a gnarled tan tree covered in pastel blue and pink flowers, purple berries, and olive green leaves. Swirling blue and tan scrolls, each with a large pink flower in the center and abundant flourishes, circle the inside of the fluted rim. The edge of the rim is trimmed in gold.
This small candy dish measures 6-inches long by 4-7/8 inches wide and 1-1/4 inches deep.
The gold and red Royal Arms backstamp reads: "By Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen/ China Potters/ Paragon/ Fine Bone China/ Made in England Reg'd." This mark was used by Paragon from around 1957 to the early 1960s.
Other than minor wear on the gold rim consistent with use, there are no condition issues.
