Complete your Mid-Century 22K-gold Culver Antigua barware set with this Small Footed Brandy Pourer! Shaped like a pinched snifter, this pourer is wider at the bottom of the bowl than it is at the top. A 3/4-inch wide 22K-gold crackle band with oval windows encircles the lower portion of the pitcher. A narrower 1/4-inch gold band with oval impressions circles the top. A pale green reverse can be seen within the crackles when held to the light. The top is "pinched" to form the spout. The foot was once gold trimmed, but the gold there is nearly completely worn away.
Standing 6-inches high, the bowl is about 3-1/2 inches deep. The opening is 3-inches in diameter, 3-3/8 across the pouring spout. The circular foot is 3-inches in diameter.
This beautiful Hollywood Regency style pourer is signed "©Culver, Ltd." indicating this set is likely circa the 1960s, though this popular pattern was made from the 50s to the 1980s. Paper labels instead of signatures were usually used from the 1970s forward.
The gold around the rim of the foot is so well worn that it is almost completely gone, but there is very little, if any, wear in the pattern that decorates the bowl of the piece.
