These beautiful Leaf Band Green Depression Glass Plates were made by MacBeth Evans. Leaf Band or Leaf is a lesser known, and difficult to find, Depression Glass pattern because the luncheon plate was the only piece made. The center of the plate has a molded all-over leaf pattern on a stippled background. A band of matching leaves circles the rim. MacBeth-Evans’ green is worth noting, as it is slightly more blue than most Depression Glass. These plates would blend well with MacBeth-Evans' Dogwood pattern.
Each of these plates measures 7-7/8 inches in diameter.
Made by Macbeth-Evans circa 1930, there is no mark.
Other than the expected flaws characteristic of Depression Era Glass, such as bubbles, mold seam roughness, or other manufacturing irregularities, there is no damage.
