This delicate bone china teacup and saucer by Paragon features a pretty peach colored rose motif and is signed "Dany Robin" on both pieces. Numbered E50D, large orange-pink rose blossoms and buds accented with lovely green foliage and pale blue shadows decorate the front, back, and inside of the teacup and opposite each other on the saucer. Both the fluted cup and the saucer are edged with brushed gold, and the handle and foot of the cup are also gilded.
The teacup measures 3 inches tall and 3-1/4 inches in diameter across the subtly scalloped rim, with another inch for the handle. It stands on a 1-3/4-inch foot. The matching saucer is 5-5/8 inches in diameter.
The backstamp bears the gold and red Royal Arms and reads: "By Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen, Manufacturers of Paragon Fine Bone China, England Reg'd." A gold hand-written number "E50D" is also on the underside of the foot of the cup.
Made by Paragon circa the 1960s, there are no condition issues.
