Offered here for your consideration is this beautiful Royal Albert Bone China Centennial Rose Dinner Plate. Created for Canada's Centennial in 1967, the Centennial Rose pattern features coral pink roses with yellow-tipped petals. These rose bouquets decorate this plate in five different places around the inner rim. The largest bouquet with heavy blossoms, buds, and green leaves adorns the left side of the plate, with a smaller matching bouquet opposite. Three smaller matching sprays dot the top and bottom of the fluted rim, and a narrow gold band edges the outer rim.
This fine quality plate measures 10-1/2 inches in diameter.
The back stamp is a miniature of the rose motif followed by "Royal Albert" in deep pink, "Bone China England" in green, "Centennial®" in a concave semicircle, and finished with the word "Rose."
This pattern was produced by Royal Albert China from 1967 to 1981. There are no condition issues. The photo shows a bit of dirt on the back of the plate that has been removed.
