This sleek mid-century glass 3-part Relish was made by Fostoria for their Seascape line in the Pink Opalescent color called Coral Sand. Seascape was made in unmistakably Mid-Century Modern shapes such as the uniquely curved shaped of this relish dish. Like a piece of sea glass sculpted by the waves this dish is fluid with slopes and curves. The Coral Sand color is a beautiful soft pink opalescent shade that nearly glows with the reflection of light. Smooth ridges of glass divide this bowl into three non-equal sections.
This beautiful dish measures 12-inches by 9-inches at its largest dimensions, by 1-1/2 inches deep.
This unmarked pattern was made by Fostoria from 1954 to 1958. The pearly opalescence is much lovelier than the photos can depict.
As in most vintage pieces, there are normal, small surface scratches. The most prevalent of these is about 1/2 inch long. There are a few random bubbles in the glass from the manufacturing process, and there are no chips or cracks.
