This sleek mid-century glass single light candlestick was made by Fostoria for their Seascape line in the Pink Opalescent color called Coral Sand. Seascape was made in unmistakably Mid-Century Modern shapes such as the tapered bowl of this candleholder that rolls in at the rim. The Coral Sand color is a beautiful soft pink opalescent shade that nearly glows with the reflection of light. Three glass prongs grow up from the bottom like stalagmites to grip the candle in the center.
This ethereal candlestick measures 4-3/4 inches in diameter and 2-1/4 inches high.
Shown in one photo with a 12-inch taper for perspective only, this unmarked pattern was made by Fostoria from 1954 to 1958.
Two candlesticks are available and priced separately for your convenience. One has a group of pinhead-sized black paint-like spots on the side, and another pinpoint spot about 1-1/2 inches to the right of these. There are no chips or cracks in either candleholder.
