Here is a lovely Gold Trimmed Lemon Plate with a single attached handle from Noritake. The rim in the color of rich cream is decorated with a design of raised gold over large orange poppies and smaller blue flowers with green leaves on opposite sides. The other two compass points have a smaller design with the same lavish, raised gold trim. The single handle is also trimmed in gold. Made by Noritake during the early 1920's, this creamy porcelain plate measures 5-1/2 inches in diameter.
The Red M in Wreath (M for Morimura family) backstamp reads "Noritake Handpainted Made in Japan U.S. Design Pat. Applied For"
The only sign of age is minor wear on the gold trim.
