This pink-edged Fenton Double Crimped 10-Inch Bowl is stunning in its simplicity. The pattern is known as Rose Crest and features a clear, pale pink ruffled glass edge encircling the double-crimped milk glass bowl.
Measuring 10 inches in diameter, this beautiful bowl is 3-3/4 inches deep. Rose Crest was only made by Fenton between 1944 and 1947, making it rather hard to find.
There is no mark because Fenton used only paper labels until 1970 when they began adding an embossed logo.
There are three small nearly equidistant spots that may be popped bubbles or kiln marks in the white glass near the pink crest. There is also a 1/4-inch horizontal deep scratch across the white of one of the ruffles. This large bowl is a gorgeous example of a vintage Fenton piece.
