You'll fall in love with this romantic vintage Rose and Leaf Coffee Pot by Edwin Knowles! The pattern known as Rose and Leaf is an uncomplicated design of a single pink rose on a green leafy stem gracefully adorning the front of the creamy white coffee pot. Smaller pink roses and buds with the same green leaves dot the top portion of the pot as well as the cover.
The sleek coupe shape is a telltale sign of its mid century vintage even before seeing the mark. The backstamp is the Green K in rounded rectangle followed by J.S.A. 51-11, indicating a manufacture date of 1951.
This lovely coffee pot measures 7 inches tall with the cover, 6 inches without it. It is 5 inches in diameter and 8-3/4 inches across the spout and handle.
Great as a display piece, unfortunately, there is a 3/4 inch hairline crack coming down from the top edge. There is no other damage. The condition is reflected in the price.
