This Baltic Ivy luncheon plate includes the cost of shipping in the price! Made by Blue Ridge, Southern Potteries sometime before 1957, the pattern on this plate features three large five-lobed ivy leaves in deep forest green, with three smaller light chartreuse leaves on a sweeping brown vine along one side of the plate.
The hand painted pottery plate measures 9-1/4 inches in diameter, making it large enough to be used as a dinner plate.
The circular backstamp reads "Blue Ridge, Hand Painted, Underglaze, Southern Potteries, Inc. Made in U.S.A." with a smudged number under it.
There are surface scratches and the beginnings of non-discolored crazing as well as a few of spots of pale brown discoloration on the edge.
