The beautiful design on this Cadet Blue Hall Gold Decorated teapot is called French Flower, and this teapot shape is also known as French. French Flower is a beautiful all-over, lacy, gold overlay of five-petaled flowers, here over the lovely Cadet Blue glaze. The spout, handle, rim, and cover are all trimmed with gold lines.
Made by the Hall China Company between the 1930s and 1960s, this teapot measures 5-1/2 inches tall with the cover, and 4-1/2 inches without the cover. It is 8-3/4 inches across the spout and handle and about 5-1/2 inches in diameter.
It is stamped with a circle with the word "Hall" enclosed and "Made in U.S.A." below. A second stamp, in gold, reads "Hall 049, 6 Cup, Made In U.S.A. "
Other than expected, normal wear on the bottom of the foot, there are no condition issues.
