Offered here is a delightful canary yellow, gold decorated, Parade shape, hook cover teapot by Hall China. Parade is a round shape with a pattern of draping folds in the mould that cover most of the pot and sweep up onto the high spout. The handle has an extended grip at the top, and the hooked cover has an elongated streamlined finial at the top. In buttery Canary yellow, the shoulders of this Gold-Decorated teapot are adorned with acorns and oak leaves, and the handle, spout, and cover are lined with gold.
This lovely Hall teapot measures 5-inches tall without the lid, 6-1/4 inches with the cover on, and 9-1/4 inches across the spout and handle. Nearly spherical, it is about 6-inches in diameter.
Hall made this teapot sometime during the 1950s and 1960s.
It is marked with a circle with the word "Hall" enclosed and "Made in U.S.A." below. Also, in gold, "Hall 0799, 6 Cup, Made In U.S.A. "
There is a glaze pop nearly hidden by one of the oak leaves on the left side of the teapot. There is very little wear on the gold, seen mostly on the grip of the handle, and there is shelf wear on the underside of the foot. There are no other condition issues.
