This Emerald Green Elegant Glass cup and saucer was made by Cambridge during the Depression Era and named Decagon. Decagon is a pretty ten-angled blank that was used for many of the Cambridge Glass etchings and blends well with several Cambridge designs. The gorgeous fluid lines in clear, pastel green make this cup and saucer equally beautiful as a stand-alone piece.
The slightly flared cup is 2-3/8 inches tall and 3-3/4 inches in diameter across the top. The handle adds another 3/4-inch. The 6-inch saucer curves up a little, like an upside-down umbrella.
This pattern was made by Cambridge from the 1930s to 1940s.
The set is unmarked. There are small surface scratches consistent with normal use.
