These stunning Fostoria Fairfax amber cup and saucer sets will enrich any table setting. Fairfax was a blank used for many Fostoria etchings. Here in the color of liquid caramel, the faintly paneled sides with each rib coming to a small point form a decagon shape on the saucer. The matching cup has a smooth edge.
Measurements are: Cup: 3-1/2 inches in diameter and 2-1/8 inches tall. Add 3/4-inch for the handle. Saucer is 5-7/8 inches in diameter.
This pattern was made by Fostoria from 1927 to 1944. There is no mark.
There are normal surface scratches, and each saucer has the same 1 inch scratch in the bottom. One cup has a pinhead sized extra bead of glass on the rim that must have been done in the manufacture.
